So Mars Productions is a production services & consultancy company, born from a love of storytelling & artistic collaboration, and over 10 years of individual, professional experience.
It is dedicated to fostering the highest Levels of artistic excellence and inspiring creativity.
The Team:
Artistic Director
Our Founder and artistic director, Sophie Marsden, is an Actor - Producer with training from East 15 and Identity Acting Schools in London. She is a storyteller committed to enriching the cultural landscape with exceptional experiences that captivate and educate diverse audiences.
Sophie’s production journey started back in 2014, when she co-produced the shows ‘Sweet Nothings’ and ‘Bonus Material’ at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival for Bristol Revunions comedy group before going on to work as an assistant producer for Outrider Anthems on their project: ‘Song of Crow’ from 2015-2016.
Her more recent production credits include: Two Gentlemen of Verona (2021), Wine & Hotdogs’ (2023), and a British & Irish tour of ‘The Good Women’ (2024) which she also directed.
She is currently an associate producer with the Messy Kind.
